Southwest Airlines on Sunday started its new nonstop service between Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).
Southwest is starting with five daily nonstops between the two cities.
On August 14, 2010, Southwest plans to add three additional BOS-PHL daily nonstops to the schedule, bringing the total to eight daily nonstops to/from Boston Logan and PHL.
The new flights come in addition to Southwest’s existing service between other Boston-area airports and PHL:
* Four nonstops to/from T. F. Green International Airport in Providence (PVD) and PHL
* Four nonstops to/from Manchester-Boston Regional Airport in Manchester, New Hampshire (MHT) and PHL
