American Airlines has retimed the departure of its daily nonstop flight from Chicago to Delhi to open up over 20 same-day connection opportunities for customers flying beyond India’s capital,
The Chicago-Delhi flight now leaves three hours earlier than the previous schedule.
Under the new schedule, the flight departs from Chicago O’Hare International Airport at 4:35 p.m. (CDT) and lands in India at 5.45 p.m. local time after a 14-and-a-half-hour non-stop journey.
American Airlines’ Director of Chicago Passenger Sales Loretta Kuss said the new schedule would provide multiple connection flights to cities such as Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore.
The timing for the overnight westbound flight to Chicago will remain the same.
American Airlines started serving the Indian market from Chicago in November 2005.
