India’s troubled carrier Air India has expanded its European route map to include the Austrian capital Vienna.
The Vienna service debuted April 6, 2016.
Vienna is Air India’s eighth European destination.
A major tourist hub and cultural destination, Vienna attracts thousands of tourists from India every year.
Air India previously offered services to London, Birmingham, Paris, Frankfurt, Rome, Milan and Moscow.
Vienna Flight
Air India is connecting Delhi to Vienna with a non-stop flight that will run thrice a week, on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Air India is using the Boeing B787 aircraft on the Vienna route.
The Delhi-Vienna-Delhi flight will offer 18 seats in Business Class and 238 seats in Economy.
The Vienna service provides convenient connections to over 25 European destinations.
On the Indian side, Vienna-Delhi service offers travelers connectivity to major cities as well as international destinations like Bangkok, Kathmandu, Colombo and other destinations connected ex Delhi.
The Delhi-Vienna-Delhi flight departs at 1400hrs from Delhi and arrives at Vienna at 1845hrs (Local Time).
The return flight has a night departure from Vienna at 2245hrs (LT) and arrives in Delhi at 0925hrs (+1).
